Jim Larwill

For those who couldn’t get there in person, here’s a 6-minute excerpt I put together of Jim performing from his Birdman, Stoneman, Incantation series at the last Sasquatch (with his permission to record). Fabulous performance.

He performed Incantation, Incarnation, Evocation, Prayer, Prayer, Elegy and Transformation [this Raven’s Song].

“Raven’s Song”: It has been said that this is a land of hidden stone giants. Has Raven trapped the Bone-Picker in rock? Will the Bone-Picker return and dance again?

I missed his Wilbur Walnut set of poems twice now and it wasn’t on offer that day. (Patience for luckenstance, that virtue, keeps accumulating?)

He launches a kid’s poetry CD Saturday July 2, 1 pm at Solstice Books, 815 Riverside, Wakefield Quebec. It’s called “Fluffy the Forest Cat”.
