Voices of Venus

Last night’s show was a hoot. This group pic is at FB and Humanyms but for those who don’t go to either,

Where There's Fire

Unfortunately my pics of the open mic were all pretty unrecoverably blurry. Here are some shots from during the reading:

It was hosted by the witty improv MC Nadine Thornhill. Tickets from her show Winternude are at Venus Envy as well.

What a great show. I’m proud to have been entrusted with publishing the writing of such strong writers: Poems by Jacqueline Bourque, Frances Boyle, Mary Lee Bragg, Laurie Koensgen, Robin K. Macdonald, Pearl Pirie, LM Rochefort, Deborah-Anne Tunney and Jean Van Loon.

It was 14 months from pitching the chapbooks and getting an agreement that we’ll do it to the launch.

There’s about a dozen copies left and there will be no second print run for health reasons. (Burning holes in the cover stock made a smoke I probably shouldn’t have breathing.)

Get them while they last if you haven’t.
